I realize I don't have a whole bunch of followers here on my blog. But, if I could get some of you to vote which name you like the best for our youth group, I'd appreciate it. Here are a few that I came up with, and I'm interested in knowing which one you like the best. Thanks so much!
RADIUS
1. A straight line extending from the center of a circle or sphere to the circumference or surface
2. A field or range of operation or influence.
NEXUS
1. A means of connection; tie; link.
2. A connected series or group.
HAVEN
1. Any place of shelter and safety
JUNCTION
1. The state of being joined; union.
2. Something that joins other things together
BOND
1. That which unites or binds
MOMENTUM
1. Force or speed of movement; push
FORCE
1. Any body of persons combined for joint action

I vote for RADIUS!
i vote nexus.... i feel the meaning is the best for what it should be like for a youth group.
I would go with nexus. I kind of goes with what you were saying about bringing together the group in another post and how they were finally coming together.
RADIUS and NEXUS are both my favorite too. We're getting together on Friday, and I'll get some more ideas and see what our leaders think of these names. But I just wanted to see what others thought. Thanks guys! :)
That is a good Idea Ali, I question if you have asked your Students, and what your Goal, or mission statement is for your Youth Group as well, cause that will be a big deciding factor too, But I agree, I like Nexus, and Radius. Miss you both!
yea... we got together to discuss our mission statement, and we also are going to let the kids take a vote this wednesday. someone else threw out the name FUSION, which is cool. i think other youth groups also have this as a name, but i like it still. :)
