I found a little bit of relief last night after Paul put the air conditioner in our bedroom. The tops of my feet were so itchy and the rash was getting worse...and on top of that they were swollen because of the heat. But once the A/C got going in my room, I felt relief on my feet almost immediately.
There is a website dedicate to women who have had PUPPs. Women can go on and tell their stories, and explain what they did to find relief. I read that taking dandelion root and flaxseed oil capsules seemed to cure most women of the rash in a matter of weeks, rather than needing to wait until delivery of the baby. So, since I'm desperate, I went out and bought the stuff, as well as Pinetar Soap. So, we'll see how this works out for me. I'll keep you posted.
If you ever know of anyone who says she's developing a miserable itchy rash during her pregnancy...I'd recommend directing her to http://members.optushome.com.au/westhoff/puppp/2003postings2.html . Even if these natural remedies don't work like it did for some women...it just makes me feel like I'm not alone to find that other women have experienced the same problem, and feel the same way I am feeling. To the point of insantity!!! I am trying my best to stay positive and look at the bright side, but it's very hard. So, please continue to pray...thank you so much!!

Try not to be too discouraged! Pregnancy can be so unpleasant just keep in mind how great the reward will be. Believe it or not you will actually forget how bad it really is once she's been born. I think I had just about every horrible pregnancy symptom there was (although I didn't have PUPPs so I won't even begin to pretend to know how miserable that must make you)! Hang in there! I love hearing about your pregnancy, since I've just been through it myself. I'm praying for you and Paul too! I'm sure he hates feeling so helpless when you're so uncomfortable.
Sounds to me like you're the one who needs a pool in the backyard!
I've been meaning to tell you about my absolute favorite baby item!! Two weeks after McKenna was born we got the Fisherprice Papasan Cradle Swing. Oh my word, I love it! My life would have been so much easier with Christian if I had, had this swing. It swings side to side (instead of back and forth) so the baby feels like they're being rocked. The seat can be laid flat or in an upright position. McKenna sleeps very soundly in it and it rocks her to sleep when I'm too busy with all the other kids. It has a little mobile on it that she's just starting to pay attention to. It takes batteries, but so far I've only gone through 2 sets, so it's not like I'm constantly buying batteries. The big negative is the price. I got mine on sale for $130, but it's been worth every cent. At 2am when I couldn't get her to go back to sleep I would put her in the swing and she would be happy until she fell back asleep. So if your having anymore showers or if you get some gift cards it might be a great purchase. Although I can't promise you anything. Emma was the fussiest baby I've ever seen and I don't think this swing would have helped her one bit!
